If he did not commit that double murder he almost certainly knows who did. I respect his talents and work ethic as a football player but I don't respect him as a person because he has no regard for the lives of those two men who were brutally murdered.

I have never been a huge Randy Moss fan because of his "I play when I want to play" attitude but he obviously has been an elite player for most of his career and he has accomplished a great deal, even though I think that he could have accomplished even more if he had developed a different mindset. But Manning not clutch in playoffs. So its a double edgesword to me. Brady top 3 qb all Time def Better than peyton. He not been as good recently but his legacy is etched in stone. He done it for 11 years at this level I still Think he Got another super bowl in him.

I Think kaep will be a great player in sf. He can Best qb in league and as good as Wilson rg3 and luck. He not a brief phenemonon. I don't think tim tebow will ever be Great he never be a good passer. I stil Think Jeremy lin could be borderline great especially if he control the ball and could get a little Better jumpshot. Harden and melo control the ball and dominate it lin had good games With them but even Better wen they weren't there and he control the ball he only 24 I still Think he gon be pretty good.

Ray lewis is a free man he did and had his day in court Its Not about something 10 years ago. I love for legends to go out on top he doing his thing. Im rooting For randy moss even more tho he been a Great player. But I got love for ray the trial long and goneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6812670776373470303.post-20523363420909725532013-01-24T16:19:49.086-05:002013-01-24T16:19:49.086-05:00Boyer:

Manning also threw the decisive pick six in Indy's Super Bowl loss to the Saints. It is not at all "clear" that he is better than Roethlisberger or his brother--at least in the postseason.

It is funny that you make so many excuses for Peyton Manning and then blame Brady for two "chokes" that were the result not of his poor play but rather great (or lucky, depending on how you look at it) offensive plays made by the opposing team after Brady had led his team to late game leads and put the Patriots in position to win those Super Bowls--a stark contrast to the way that Manning literally threw away the Super Bowl versus the Saints and the recent playoff game versus the Ravens.

After Manning went down in 2011, the Colts saw that they had a chance at the number one pick and they essentially tanked the season, much like they tanked games in the past once they had clinched the top seed in the playoffs; in contrast, the Patriots play hard all of the time and that is why they went 11-5 without Brady (keep in mind that they were 16-0 with him the season before). Matt Cassel is not a great QB but he is much better than the dreck that the Colts replaced Manning with as they tanked their way through the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

Brady has not played as well in the playoffs since 2004 as he did prior to that but I would still take him over Peyton Manning in a playoff game. Peyt...Tebow certainly didn't get a fair shake. Peyton definitely played well, and easily well enough for his team to win against the ravens. It's not his fault for conservative play calling by Fox and his defense's ineptitude. He also played well in his 2005 playoff game. And in both of his super bowls, Peyton has played extremely. His receivers dropped 2 TD passes, and Wayne ran a wrong route on play that ended up being a pick 6. When it's 1 and done, like the NFL playoffs are, a lot more crazy will happen with more upsets than in baseball or basketball. Peyton is clearly much better than Roethlisberger or Eli, and they each have 1 more title than he does.

Brady hasn't done much in about a decade and has led his teams to 2 of the biggest chokes in NFL history, and he was clearly helped by an egregious call during his first super bowl run. He's like Jeter, they'll both be gold to pretty much everyone regardless of what they do. They've both been lucky to have great coaches and great teams around them pretty much every year.

It's interesting to see what happened with Brady and Manning when they each went down. The Pats go 11-5 with a no-name QB who's never been good, and with the bizarre NFL rules, still don't make the playoffs, but are a good team. The colts completely fall apart and are the worst team in the NFl.

They're both great QBs, but without acknowledging all the facts, the story gets completely distorted. Football isn't basketball. The QB position is the most important position, but on average your QB plays about 45-48% of the game, and even when he's in the game, he's only one of 22 men on the field, and is more or less involved in only 60% of plays when he's in the game.boyernoreply@blogger.com
