Just compare them to other teams that have made a deep playoff run in recent years and they don't measure up. NE and Indy may fall off but then other teams will step up. It still takes a certain overall quality to advance in the playoffs and I don't think the Jets are that good of a team.

Did Moss ever catch a 99 yard pass for Minn? That 50 yarder was from his own goal line. I don't think that he's lost too much speed but I agree with you that TO is an athletic freak; that comes from his tremendous work ethic in the weight room and on the practice field.David Friedmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08444347475303187373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6812670776373470303.post-20544904155404796902008-09-10T23:20:00.000-04:002008-09-10T23:20:00.000-04:00anymous reggiehe wont it's one week he played well...anymous reggie

he wont it's one week he played well but minnesota played terrible as well he will be solid quarter back there regret not bringinging favre back brett still got it.

the jets is good i believe and know brett will hold up with new england possibly out and indy not looking good that opens the door for a long run in playoffs those were the teams that made super bowl 4 of last 6 times it's only one week i could be wrong.

moss isnt the player he was in minnesota when he caugt the 50 yard pass vs chiefs in minnestoa that would of been a touch down but he cant run by guys like he used too that what i marvel about terrell owens he 35 almost and still look like he 23 he is still 3 and 4 steps ahead of guys i think moss is still probably best reciever becasue of the jump ball and he still has the burst at times.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6812670776373470303.post-56404209821866303412008-09-10T03:17:00.000-04:002008-09-10T03:17:00.000-04:00Reggie:What reason do you have to think that Rodge...Reggie:

What reason do you have to think that Rodgers "won't hold up"? Favre is at an age where his career is literally a week by week proposition, while Rodgers is just at the beginning of his career.

How exactly do you figure that after one victory over a 1-15 team that the Jets are going to "go deep in the playoffs"? I'm still not convinced that the Jets will make the playoffs and I certainly am not convinced that they will "go far."

Last year Moss set the single season record for TD receptions, so I'm not sure I understand how you can say that he "isn't what he used to be."

Brady was unproven when he took over, so let's wait and see exactly how good Cassel is. Your Tiger analogy is flawed because golf is an individual sport; in a team sport it is possible, however unlikely, to replace even a great player, or at least to find a way to get by without him.David Friedmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08444347475303187373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6812670776373470303.post-40456945823355562692008-09-09T19:24:00.000-04:002008-09-09T19:24:00.000-04:00anymous reggie favre played great and so did roger...anymous reggie
favre played great and so did rogers i dont think rodgers will hold up brett will even though the second touchdown he threw was up for grabs. the jets are a good team becasue of favre now and will go deep in playoffs.

tom brady is best player randy moss isnt what he used to be but still great matt cassell is a back up he is not going to do what brady did in 01 they could still win 11 games but there not going nowhere in postseason it's like pga loseing tiger woods cavs loseing lebron lakers loseing kobe.

i love ocho cinco not a big fan of terrrell owens but you are a 100 percent right ocho cinco doesnt have owens resume as a player he as done nuthing in postseason where owens had a big superbowl game playoof game vs green bay and giants and had bettter individual seasons than chad johnoson he should get more leeway then ocho cinco because he is the better player johnson is a distraction and starting to go off the deep end with this changeing his name stuff he did nuthing in game 1 where Terrell had a good game and all you heard was the dumb celebration by owens not the bad game by johnson johnson has most receptions and yards last 5 years owens meant more to team they both have been disruptive johnson now not owens anymore.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6812670776373470303.post-4298333947821556152008-09-09T08:44:00.000-04:002008-09-09T08:44:00.000-04:00Kornheiser is trying hard and that will always be ...Kornheiser is trying hard and that will always be the problem. Everyone knows hes not there for his football knowledge so hes doing whatever he can to bring anything else. Its not working and will never work.

Chad Johnson is a disgrace to the position. He wants all of this attention but why? He gets attention by being an NFL WR who has the most receptions and yards the last 5 years. Just play.madnicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07496277691175179159noreply@blogger.com
