The process is horribly flawed: some vote...Marcel:<br /><br />The process is horribly flawed: some voters will not vote for a player on the first ballot because they think that only certain players deserve first ballot status; then you have some voters who have grudges against certain players (I don't think that affected Dawson but it certainly hurt Jim Rice). Also, steroids and other PEDs blew up players' numbers in the 1990s and thus made Dawson and other stars from the 1970s and 1980s seem to be less Hall-worthy.<br /><br />I think that the voters should bypass just about every slugger from the "Steroid Era" except for Ken Griffey, Jr. and Frank Thomas.
